The Happy Book.

Donors kept needing the same explanation: what The Good Job Happy Co. actually does, and why it matters. So we made the answer a product. A book, not a brochure.

§ The Problem

Try explaining a dog treat company that exists to create jobs for adults with autism and intellectual disabilities in one elevator ride. Now try it in a way that makes someone want to write a check.

Donor materials in this space usually go one of two ways. A guilt-trip pamphlet or a stat-stuffed pitch deck. This mission deserved neither. It deserved something a donor holds, reads, and hands to the next person.

§ The Work

The Happy Book. A 34-page founding publication that does the whole explanation. Happy the dog, founder Tricia Jezierny, the Paw-in-Hand model, and the numbers that make the mission urgent.

Editorial design built on the brand system. Warm paper tones, serif headlines, orange doing the pointing. Every photograph is real. Real Makers, real kitchen, real dog. No stock. No AI.

It ends the way every shift at the bakery does. Someone hears good job.

§ The Result

0.

stock photos. Every image in the book is a real Maker, a real kitchen, a real dog named Happy.

One object that does the pitch before anyone speaks. Donors get the story, the model, and the governance receipts in the appendix, so trust never has to be asked for.

It lives as a digital flipbook too, so the story travels as far as a link.

Some brands get a deck. This one got a book.
